As the UK has had a huge heatwave, it’s about time I talked you through some summer essentials beauty products you need in your life or if you’re going to a festival, some of these products would be perfect too. If you don’t know this already, I’m a fake tan addict so this post features a few fake tan related products just to warn you in advance! Sorry for all the fake tan haters out there.
Removing fake tan is the biggest chore of my life. You can’t just keep applying new tan oh noooo, you have to scrub your body until your completely red for it to come off and even then you probably still have some left on you. This tan remover really does the job no matter what tan you have on. It’s a lifesaver!
Because who doesn’t wear deodorant? I love this one because it doesn’t have that ‘wet’ feeling. It dries super quick which is exactly what you want.
I love the concept behind this product it really is a genius! It preps and primes your skin when it comes to applying fresh tan. It gets rid of dead skin and creates the perfect base for tanning. I use it in the shower – it smells incredible too! You can also use it to remove tan build up if you ever get that annoying creasing on elbows or arms after applying tan.
Every time I shave my legs I have to use this product! I rub the gel all down my leg before shaving and it leaves my legs feeling so soft. I can’t imagine not having it in my bathroom.
Another must have for a fake tan addict like me! These are great for removing dead skin and creating a smooth surface for your tan. They’re super cheap to pick up in Boots and won’t leave you skint for the month which is always a bonus!
Before you skincare experts type your ranting comments about how I need to use proper skincare don’t you worry! I only use these to remove my eye makeup before doing a full skincare routine. I find it’s easier to remove mascara before applying cleanser and washing your face properly.
Any dark hair girls will feel my pain with this one… moustache hairs! Can’t be having that. Since trying this about a year ago I’ve used it ever since. Make sure not to leave it on for too long though otherwise you’ll have burns – been there done that. Not a good look.
The Max Factor Gloss in the shade Enchanting Coral is the perfect summer essential gloss everyone needs. Not only does it taste amazing but it leaves your lips looking glossy and not sticky at all. If you’re after a blush that gives the most subtle bit of colour, Max Factor Blush in Lovely Pink is your best bet. It doesn’t make you look like you’ve been slapped across the face and with a tan it looks so pretty.

This post is in collaboration with Chemist.co.uk but all opinions are my own and I use these products all the time.
