I love a pamper evening especially in the colder months we’ve been in recently. There’s nothing better than getting into a warm bath, chilling out for a bit and then getting into bed. As it’s the month of International Women’s Day, we all should take time out and have a pamper evening now and again so I thought I’d put together a little guide on products you need.

I don’t know about you but I can’t have my hair down in the bath because it gets wet, goes in my face and it’ll just annoy me so I like to make sure it’s out of my face. We all see those photos on Instagram with the most perfect looking bath with drinks balancing on the side, candles and it looks like something out of a magazine… my version is me slipping and sliding all over the bath from oils and bath bombs, probably dropping my drink and getting too hot that I have to get out! I like to make sure I have something to put in the bath whether that be an oil or a bath bomb. I’m currently using the Tropic So Sleepy bath soak and it’s the perfect product to use when relaxing. I just pour some into the bath whilst running it – it includes Rosemary essential to help destress but the only downside is it comes with a heavy price tag of £38 so if you want a cheaper alternative L’Occitane has lots to offer in the gifts for women section where you can get a few products in one set.
Whilst I’m in the bath I tend to just go on my phone or read something (if I’m on my phone I do take a bit of a risk and hope I don’t drop it!). I’m currently reading Lily Pebbles new book called The F Word and I did a post all about female friendships here in case you missed it. After the bath I like to moisturise using the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter because there is nothing better than getting into bed after you’ve shaved your legs and moisturised, am I right? A pamper evening isn’t complete without a full skincare routine and a face mask – I always mix it up with my face masks I use some Tropic ones, Garnier or L’Oreal. One of my favourite skincare products is the Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm which I put on after removing my makeup. It always leaves my skin feeling so soft and bright.
After that, I can’t not go to sleep without using my So Sleepy Pillow Mist. I spray a tiny amount on my pillow and it’s literally the best smell. You might notice the above that the So Sleepy bath soak is the same as the pillow mist so they’re both from the So Sleepy range – I’d highly recommend both.
