Overall, I really liked the November edition and I’ve definitely found some new favourites. Don’t forget you can sign up here for £35 – it works out well as the total of all of these products comes to over £100 so you’ll be saving yourself some cash in the long run!
Cohorted is known for being one of most luxury subscription beauty boxes around and rightly so. I love a good beauty subscription box especially when it’s full of products I would genuinely use and love. When the November edition* turned up on my door I was so excited to see what was inside. Who doesn’t want 5 high-end products a month delivered to their door? If a beauty subscription box like this sounds good to you already, you can sign up here.
If you’re a beauty lover like me you might have already spotted the Too Faced lip product above which caught my eye instantly. The products came inside a square black box and a booklet that included information about each product so you know what each one is etc. There’s a right mixture in the November edition box – you’ve got makeup, a hand cream and skincare products.
Plum & Ashby Hand Cream
As the weather is getting colder I’ve noticed such a difference with my skin, especially my lips and hands. Receiving this hand cream has been a lifesaver! I hate hand creams which take ages to absorb into the skin and you’re left feeling like you have wet hands but this couldn’t be further from that. It feels really moisturising and leaves the most gorgeous scent on your hands. On top of that, this hand cream is made from all natural ingredients and isn’t tested on animals – bonus!
Figs & Rouge Brightening Primer
Primers are a bit of a hit or miss for me – you hear everyone say how much of a difference they make to your makeup routine yet I always forget to use them! This primer is meant to give a healthy glowing complexion and it says to blend into your skin alone or under makeup. I found this primer to be very glittery so there’s no way I’d apply this all over my face unless you want to look like a glitter ball.. however I’ve just been using it on the tops of my cheekbones as it’s the perfect highlighting product. It feels so soft on the skin and it really does illuminate any area.
Too Faced Melted Long Wear Lipstick – shade Melted Coral
I’m pretty much the only blogger in the world who has never tried one of these Too Faced lip products! This product was probably the most exciting product in the box for me as I had always wanted to try one. The shade couldn’t be more perfect as it’s one I would have picked out for myself – I’m all for coral shades (see swatch below). They really are long lasting! I put it on in the morning and by afternoon you could still see it on my lips and that was without any touch ups. It has an angled velvet tip to apply which makes it really precise when applying.
New Cid Cosmetics I-Intense Mascara
One thing I love about these boxes is they introduce you to new brands you probably haven’t heard of. There’s the right balance between brands everyone loves and new brands you wouldn’t have tried before. I’m all for trying new mascaras especially ones with pretty packaging and I love how it’s shiny (makes it a nightmare to photograph though!). I found that it added lots of volume to my lashes and didn’t feel heavy at all. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve tried but it’s nice to have as a back-up if I ever run out of my favourite ones.
Lancome Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream
In the November box there was two of these new Lancome creams which doesn’t help my overflowing drawer of skincare products at all! I always like trying new skincare products especially ones which I probably wouldn’t have looked at before. I haven’t used these creams much so I might pass them onto someone who I know will use them more than I do.
