When Urban Decay dropped the pre-release of the new Heat Palette, I think everyone will agree it caused quite a stir. I went through endless heart palpitations and stress just to get this palette as each time I went on the website it kept saying sold out but after endless restocks and clicks of the refresh button, the Urban Decay Heat palette was finally mine. It’s safe to say I wasn’t going to give up! I thought I’d do a little review as it seems to be the topic of conversation at the minute – is the Urban Decay Heat Palette really worth it?
The palette is full of neutral/brown shades and also some shimmery shades. Personally I love a palette that has shimmery shades and not just matte as I’m always wearing sparkly shades on my eyes so this is right up my street. I like to have a palette where I know all the shades are wearable otherwise what’s the point?! This is exactly that.
As you can see above the shades are amazing! I like to use Ounce as a base before applying any shadow. I’ve been using Low Blow or Cayenne in my crease and then Lumbre on my eyelids. You can create any look with this palette whether it be a daytime natural look or a smoky nighttime look so it’s definitely one to carry around with you. As I mentioned above, the shimmer shades are definitely my favourite. They catch the light perfectly and all the shades compliment each other really well. Each shadow is incredibly soft and pigmented and lasts a long time on the lids.
Overall, I love this palette and I would highly recommend it as it’s my favourite Naked palette out of them all. You can grab this palette officially on July 27th from Urban Decay.
