Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser – Does It Work?

Bondi Sands Self Tan Eraser, Remove Fake Tan, Self Tan, Bondi Sands

Yes it’s me, I’m back! If you follow me on social media you will know I’m still alive but I just haven’t had the time to blog. I haven’t really known what to post either but I’m back with lots of ideas! I thought I’d kick things off with a review of a new product by Bondi Sands which is the Bondi Sands Tan Eraser that has just been released as there’s lots of talk about whether it actually works or not. I posted a picture of it over on my Instagram (bethxlouisexx) and I had SO many questions that I decided to do a full review of it here.

Lets face us, we’ve all been waiting for a tan remover product to hit the shelves for years and we finally have it! Is there anything worse than scrubbing your skin so hard in the shower to remove fake tan for about an hour? I think not. Or when you have a fake tan disaster and don’t want to leave the house looking like a giant cheese puff but you need that one product to remove it instantly.

When I first heard about this product launching I was a bit wary as I’d never heard of one before and I had no idea if it was going to work which seems to be everyone else’s thoughts too.
The concept behind this product is very straight forward. It claims to remove fake tan in just 5 minutes using no harsh ingredients that will irritate the skin. It’s a white foam which you pop onto the tan you want to remove and rub it into the skin. Leave it for about 5 minutes before jumping in the shower and removing it with warm water. You can use a face cloth or exfoliating glove but make sure it’s something you don’t mind getting old tan on as it will get dirty.

You may be wondering what the product smells like. The best way I can describe it is soap. It just smells clean and it’s not at all overpowering. I thought I’d demonstrate the results I got when using the product above just so you can see how well it actually works.

The before picture shows the dodgy fake tan which had gone patchy and almost looked a bit dirty. I didn’t want to do my whole body so I just filled the sink with warm water, applied the product to my arm and waited 5 minutes before removing it so you don’t necessarily need to have a shower if it’s just in a small patch which saves SO much time! I used no more than 2 pumps but it all depends on how much tan you want to remove. If it was your whole body it would obviously be a lot more but one pump does go a long way. As you can see the after results are pretty much everything you’d hope for.

Overall, I’m so pleased with this genius product and I know I’ll never want to be without it. You never know when you might have a fake tan disaster or when you need to wash off the old tan and apply fresh tan and now we have the one product we’ve always wanted. I couldn’t recommend this enough and for £14.99 it’s worth every single penny.
