I think one of my favourite posts to read are monthly favourites posts as
Hair & Perfume
A couple of months ago I had more blonde put through my hair and I wanted to make sure I was looking after my hair and keeping the ends of my hair as blonde as possible. I saw the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Leave-In Conditioner
in Boots and thought it would be worth a try. I spray it on my hair when it’s damp, brush through it and then dry my hair as I normally would. I need to get my hair done again soon but I’ll definitely be using this every single time. Also bare in mind, if you click the link above I think they’ve changed the packaging and just haven’t updated the picture on the website but it’s the exact same as what I have!
My favourite scent of the month was Marc Jacobs Dot Perfume – it smells amazing and the bottle looks very pretty on my dressing table even if the bottle is slightly over the top!
Onto a few new makeup favourites, why hadn’t I ever tried a YSL mascara before?! The YSL Shocking Mascara has seriously made me want to never try another mascara again! The brush allows you to create so much volume and holds a curl perfectly. The only downside I’d say is if you aren’t a fan of quite dramatic full looking lashes then this wouldn’t be for you as the brush sometimes has too much product on and can be quite hard to work with if that’s not your thing.
I love a bit of glitter and when I saw the range of Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner‘s in Debenhams I fell head over heels in love. I’d say my eyes are what I like to make the most statement on in terms of makeup looks so these are absolutely perfect. My collection is quickly growing, but the main favourite for last month was the colour Midnight Cowboy. It’s a gorgeous gold glitter colour that stays put all day – I won’t go into too much detail so I’ll save the rest for my full review which is coming very soon! I’m sure this has been featured before on the blog and it’s definitely nothing new, but red lips are a statement in Autumn so of course Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 01 was going to be given a little mention!
There’s nothing I love more than coming across a good highlight and Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter
fits that category. I really love how it never looks too much and you can build it up depending on whether you want your glow subtle or want to blind people with it.. okay not literally but you can really slay the highlight with this product and I’m all for that!
Next up is the Shadow Switch Dry Brush Cleaner
* which is the easiest product I’ve ever used! You may be wondering from the picture above what on earth it is.. well we’ve all experienced that moment where you go to use an eyeshadow brush but there’s already eyeshadow on there from the day before and you try to get it off on the back of your hand.. well look no further because this handy little tool removes all signs of eye makeup within a few seconds and is very handy to keep in your makeup drawer.

Last but not least is these gorgeous Annika Nail Polishes* from The Edge Nails. The collection is filled with 30 colours ranging from deep autumnal shades to vibrant summer pop colours. The lids of the bottles are matte which gives them a bit more of a luxurious feel and for only £3.50 you can’t go wrong!
Hope you enjoyed seeing my monthly favourites!
