Hi lovelies! It feels like absolutely ages since I last did a favourites post. Up until now I wasn’t trying any new products or loving any products enough to write one. I always want my posts to be products I’m actually using and loving and that wasn’t the case the past few months. However, I’ve now been using lots of new products and some old favourites that I’ve gone back to which I want to share with you all. Without further ado, I’ll get onto the good stuff!
First up is one for the big hair lovers out there – Charles Worthington Texturising Spray. I’m one for volume in my hair and I can’t stand my hair without it. Every time I curl my hair or just fancy a bit more volume, this is the perfect product. I believe it’s the exact same as the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray which is a lot more expensive so this is the perfect affordable alternative. Staying on the topic of hair, it wouldn’t be a favourites without mentioning my very much loved Tangle Teezer Brush. I can’t seem to find this on the Boots website, I had it ages ago but if you ever see this out and about, I highly recommend.
You can clearly tell I love things that take less time to apply hence the reason why false lashes and false nails are included in this post! I’m the least patient person ever when it comes to things like that, although I’m getting better! My favourite false nails are the Elegant Touch ones in Boots. There are lots of different colours and patterns and it makes life a lot easier! You may notice Fleur’s lashes are actually missing from the box above – I couldn’t find them anywhere because I’ve been using them so much but hopefully they turn up somewhere! I got the Fleur Loves Eylure Lashes.. they are natural but still noticeable which I really love.
When Zoe launched her Zoella Beauty range, the one thing that excited me the most was the fragrances and the fizz bar – both of which are a huge thumbs up from me. The fragrance I have is Blissful Mistful and it’s a really subtle fresh scent. It’s not too overpowering yet it’s still really pretty. For £8 you can’t really go wrong! Another gorgeous scent is New Look Pure Blush. It’s an exact dupe of the Chanel Mademoiselle perfume but for so much cheaper.
Back about two years ago I was obsessed with Nars Sheer Glow Foundation but when the bottle came to an end, I never repurchased it again. I had so many foundations on the go that I just couldn’t get another one! I finally got around to buying it again, but this time with a pump, and it’s still one of my favourites. It’s a light coverage foundation, but very buildable. It’s not the cheapest at £31, but it’s worth it!
This year I’ve been really getting into my contour and winged liner. To help me achieve this look, Collection Extreme Liner and Barbara Daly Velvet Bronzer which are both really affordable. The Velvet Bronzer definitely lives up to it’s name – it’s really soft and easy to blend which I love! The liner claims to last 24 hours and it doesn’t budge at all. Once it’s on, there’s no getting it off!
